About us

RS METALI d.d. was founded by aquisition of firms PRO-SAM, SAMOBORMETAL and RAPID 2002 and has 320 employees (including 21 highly educated experts in domain of economy, mechanical engineering and metallurgy). Main activity of RS METALI is casting of grey-, nodular graphite-, whiteheart malleable and vermicular cast iron and also nonferrous castings. We also have possibility of casting of nodular graphite cast iron 40.3 which has unchangeable characteristics on extreme temperatures. On the ground of 50 years long tradition and thanks to completed technological process, we produce castings according to drawings or samples of finished products. With experienced foundry personnel we achieve high quality level, competitive prices and respect of agreed delivery terms. Also, we maintain long-term business and technical cooperation with Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in Zagreb and Faculty of Metallurgy in Sisak.
Castings weigh from 0,10 to 350 kg, and the quality of grey cast iron is from GJL-100 to GJL-300, whiteheart malleable and nodular graphite from GJS-400 to GJS-700.
Annual capacities are 6.000 t of grey-, nodular graphite-, vermicular and whiteheart malleable cast iron and 600 t of nonferrous castings – bronze, brass, aluminium and copper, and casting technologies are sand casting, permanent mold casting, centrifuging and casting in CO2 procedure.
We also have possibility of making patterns in our own, well equiped pattern shop and with production according to drawings or samples, including machining, i.e. covers drilling, smoothing, milling and turning , we want to satisfy all demands of our partners.
Modern equiped plant for machine moulding, with automatic sand preparation, core making machines in «Croning» procedure and cleaning machines, ables us mass production and also single piecework acoording to customer's demand.
The whole production is under control of all standard examinations in completely equiped laboratories for chemical and mechanical examinations.
The control of all inputs (raw materials and supplies) and final products by using modern spectrophotometer «LECO» type GDS-400a and ARL-3460 attested according to ISO standards, assures constant qualitiy of all our products. The supervision of melting process by using optical pyrometer, according to metallurgical prevention regulations is helping us get high quality materials.
